Adonai commanded Moses to assemble the 3,000,000 people to TEACH them TORAH!

The first YOM KIPPUR (the day of National Atonement for sin) took place as Moses interceded for the new Nation of Israel and their sin of the Golden Calf.

Moses interceded and offered his own life, if Adonai would take the lives of Israel!  This prophetic shadow of Yeshua moved Adonai to pledge his presence with Israel!

Adonai forgave the national sin! Moses announced the Shekinah of Adonai would dwell again with the Nation of Israel in the Tabernacle as they journeyed to Canaan!

The response of the Nation of Israel to the request by the Lord for a freewill offering to be given by those whose hearts were moved to give, was a resounding effort to give out of their joy, because the Lord would continue to dwell with them.

They gave in EXCESS out of the joy in the Lord.

The second complete detailed description of the construction of the Tabernacle is given in this Parashah illuminating the Lord’s plans which cannot be shaken by our sin!

No-one and no-thing can stand in the way of God’s perfect will for His Creation.

This is why every detail is repeated AFTER the Sin of the Golden Calf!  Adonai is the Covenant MAKER and the Covenant KEEPER! When there is repetition in God’s word it is for EMPHASIS and UNDERSTANDING.

Yeshua is the FULFILLMENT of the Sacrificial System!  SE HA ELOHYM!

The Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world!

BezalelFrom the tribe of Judah, filled with the Holy Spirit, is a shadow of Yeshua.  Bezalel and Oholiab were the craftsmen who constructed the Tabernacle, Vessels, and Priestly garments.

It was the Ruach HaKodesh who gave Bezalel and Oholiab the wisdom to create God’s Tabernacle vessels and the Priestly Garments.

Moses erected all the finished pieces of the Tabernacle himself It was considered a Gift from God for his faithful leading of the Nation of Israel.  All elements were anointed with the Holy Anointing Oil.  Aaron and his 4 sons were COMMISSIONED into the priesthood!

The parashah concludes as the Cloud of Glory appears over the Mishkan, as the Divine Presence came to dwell among the people.

Consider the Second repetition of the Tabernacle as Adonai’s Second Overture to be At-One-Ment (atonement) with Mankind!

The first overture was in the Garden of Eden, or the Garden of Delight.

Consider the two ADVENTS of Yeshua.

In the first advent, He was rejected by the Jews as the Messiah.

In the second advent to COME, the Nation of Israel will be cleansed during YOM KIPPUR and All Israel will be Saved!

Yeshua is our GREAT PURIM or our GREAT DELIVERANCE!

HAFTARAH (Old Covenant) READING:  1 Kings 7:40-50

In these parallel verses to the Parashah, we read of the repetition of the articles of the Tabernacle, which verifies the vision of Adonai, for His dwelling place, did not change!

‘Hiram made the ash pots, shovels and sprinkling basins. With that Hiram completed all the work he had done for King Shlomo in the house of Adonai’.

(The articles are listed next, by name)

‘Shlomo made all the objects that were inside the house of Adonai; the gold altar; the table of gold on which the showbread was displayed; the menorahs, five on the right and five on the left in front of the sanctuary of pure gold; the flowers, lamps and tongs of gold, the cups, snuffers, basins, incense pans and fire pans of pure gold, and the hinges of gold, both those for the doors of the inner house, the Especially Holy Place and those for the doors of the house, that is, of the Temple’.

BRIT (New Covenant) CHADASHAH Reading: 2 Cor 9:1-15; Revelation: 11:1-13

Corinthians:

“There is really no need for me to write you about this offering for God’s people – I know how eager you are, and I boast about you to the Macedonians.  I tell them, ‘Achaia has been ready since last year.’  And it was your zeal that stirred up most of them.”

“So, I thought it necessary to urge these brothers to go on to you ahead of me and prepare your promised gift in plenty of time; this way it will be ready when I come and will be a genuine gift, not something extracted by pressure.”

Paul commends the Corinthians for their generous giving, out of their heart, not out of feelings of pressure to give.

 Revelation:

“I was given a measuring rod like a stick and told, ‘Get up, and measure the Temple of God and the altar, and count how many people are worshipping there!  But the court outside the Temple, leave that out, don’t measure it; because it has been given to the nations, and they will trample over the holy city for forty-two months.”

This is how the verses of John’s vision of the Temple and of Jerusalem begin, in The Revelation.  Read every word of this prophetic accounting for this Parashah!

“In that hour there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city collapsed.  Seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the rest were awestruck and gave glory to the God of Heaven!”
