‘God spoke face to face with those gathered before Moses and not only with their fathers.’
EL KANA: ‘The Jealous God’…‘For the Lord your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God.’
MASSAH: Testing
MEZUZAH: “Doorpost”: Inside the Mezuzah is a tiny scroll printed in Hebrew of THE SHEMA. The Mezuzah signifies those abiding inside honor the Lord God Almighty and obey His Mitzvot. Touching the Mezuzah upon entering and leaving the home is a sign of REMEMBERING!
TESHUVA: Repentance…SHUV or TURN from sin and TURN to Adonai!

IKVOT MESHICHECHA: The Footsteps of the Messiah! (Ps 89:51)
SHEMA: Hear and Obey! The Shema is the greatest Commandment!
Shema Israel, Adonai Elohenu, Adonai Echad! (Hear and Obey, Oh Israel, the Lord God is one!)
Yeshua answers the Religious Leaders of the day by reciting the SHEMA:
The GREATEST commandment is: Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God, the Lord is one.
And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.
The second is this: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
There is no other commandment greater than these. (Mark 12:29-31)
AM SEGULAH: A Treasured People! The Lord Himself called Israel AM SEGULAH! Set apart for holiness…as He is HOLY.
Israel was warned to resist “cultural assimilation”!
Instead, they were to take the land CAPTIVE…expelling every enemy of the Nation of Israel, and POSSESS the land according to Torah observance and instruction!
“For you are a people holy to the Lord your God. The Lord your God has chosen you to be a people for his treasured possession, out of all the peoples who are on the face of the earth.” (Deut. 7:6)
Haftarah (Old Covenant) Reading: Is. 40:1-26
The SEVEN Haftarah of Consolation: It is said there are seven Haftarah of Consolation spoken to the Jewish people, by the Lord. It is believed that these words are meant to describe the Messianic Age when all Israel will be saved and comforted by Yeshua!
NACHMU, NACHAMU AMI: BE COMFORTED, BE COMFORTED MY PEOPLE!
A shift in the prophetic warnings in Lamentations, pointing to the restoration of Israel in the Messianic Age.
PHYLACTERIES: These are small leather boxes worn over the forehead or the hand, connected with leather strappings to the men of Israel signifying their Torah Observance and Obedience! An outward SIGN to the Culture of the Day, of the INWARD worshipful condition of the Heart of those who wore the Phylacteries!
Notice the similarity of the WARNINGS in the book of Revelation…for the Mark of the Beast to be worn on the forehead or on the hand of those who TAKE the MARK. The Mark of the Beast is another example of how the Adversary blasphemes the Holy things of the Lord!
Satan is the ultimate COUNTERFEITER and FATHER of LIES.

Brit Chadashah (New Covenant) Reading: Matt 23:31-39; Matt 12:28-34
The restoration of Zion, in the Messianic Age, represents the all-consuming LOVE for mankind by Adonai. This is a representation of: “Paradise Restored”
Yeshua prophesies to Israel in Matthew:

Come Lord Jesus, Come!
Consider Moses’ ZEAL by the Spirit: He established Israel as a Nation under God’s sovereign laws and commands.
Moses, the shepherd of the Nation, established by Adonai, for the purposes of BLESSING the entire EARTH (ERETZ) by their FAITH in the ONE TRUE GOD and His Torah!
Consider Moses at the end of his life, knowing he would fade into the distant mountain top view, as the Nation of Israel, led by Joshua and the NEW generation of Israel, crossed the Jordan and entered the promised land, with the command to DISPOSESS in order to POSSESS!
Consider what it might have been like for Moses, as a Shepherd and Father-figure to Israel, to obediently step BACK and AWAY FROM THE ADVANCEMENT OF ISRAEL, which he fought for over 40 years!
Consider the obedience of Moses, to obey God’s command “NOT TO CROSS OVER”.
Moses had to discontinue his lead, and DEFER to Joshua ALL leadership and authority for Israel!
Consider Israel, haltingly following Joshua’s leadership, as they entered ENEMY TERRITORY, they were commanded to SUBDUE and TAKE POSSESSION OF, leaving nothing of past idol worship or profanity alive…instead, cleansing the land of all past cultures in order to establish the new Nation of Israel, according to Adonai’s instructions, all the way to ZION…the Mountain of God!
There is much to consider, in order to hide these deep lessons of God’s chosen people in our hearts. Their history is our history, their destiny our destiny, in the Millennium.
THE HEART OF THE COVENANT IS LOVE! YESHUA is the Heart of the Word and Covenant of God! Yeshua breathed life into the void at creation, knowing He would suffer and die to redeem mankind and restore Creation back to Gan Eden. The fall of Adam and Eve in Gan Eden was not a surprise to the Trinity!
COVENANT ALIGNMENT IS THE RESULT OF HONORING THE SHEMA!
Shema Isra’el, Adonai Elohenu, Adonai Echad!
Hear and obey, oh Isra’el, our Lord God is ONE!
We too must understand our Lord, and the Creator of the Universe are ONE.
We believe in the Trinity of God. The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit!
He is THREE IN ONE…indivisible and eternal!
